TVS Motor India has launched the special edition “Mudhal Kadhal” of its Scooty Pep Plus in India. The scooter has been priced at Rs 56,085 (ex-showroom Chennai) just before the Pongal festival. This edition of TVS pep Plus will be sold for a limited time only in Tamil Nadu. Similar to the regular model, this new edition has a BS6 compliant 87.8cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which is equipped with air-cooled and iCathrust technology. This Scooty will give more mileage and better pickup. Currently this model generates a peak power of 5bhp at 6,500rpm and a maximum torque of 5.8nm at 4,000rpm. It has a new edition CVT AMT gearbox for transmission.
