Mahindra teases its electric vehicle ‘Atom’ ahead of launch in 2021

Mahindra and Mahindra are set to launch a new electric vehicle next year. The company has shared the teaser of India’s new electric quadricycle ‘Atom‘. Earlier, the company has showcased the vehicle in Auto Expo 2020. ‘Atom’ is expected to be powered by a 15kW electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack. The top speed of the vehicle is unlikely to exceed 60 kmph. The range of the electric vehicle is likely to be around 75 km. According to sources, Atom may not have a battery-swapping facility, but it can recharge in four hours.
