India bans 47 more Chinese clone apps of the previously banned 59 apps

After banning 59 Chinese apps in India, the Government has again banned 47 more apps of China today. These mobile applications were the clone and lite version of the previously banned 59 apps. According to sources, the ban list includes Tiktok Lite, Helo Lite, Shareit Lite, Bigo Live Lite, VFY Lite and other clone apps. The Centre will soon release the full list officially. At least 275 China-linked apps are under the inspection of government including PUBG Mobile, Zili by Xiaomi, AliExpress and Resso from ByteDance. In June, Indian government had banned 59 Chinese apps after 20 Indian troops were killed in a violent face-off with China at the Galwan Valley.
