Donald Trump signs executive order banning 8 Chinese software transactions

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning a total of 8 software transactions in China. The list of these eight software includes Alipay of Alibaba Ant Group. According to the report of the news agency Reuters, this order will come into force 45 days after the date of the order, under the applicable law. After which no transaction of these software will be done by anyone under the jurisdiction of the United States. The list of these 8 software applications includes Alipay, CamScanner, QQ Wallet, Shareit, Talent QQ, WeChat Pay and Vmate. Last year, Trump signed an order banning Chinese apps like TikTok and WeChat within 45 days. The order stated that these apps are a threat to national security.
