Lockdown: Flipkart resumes selling operations for essential goods

Flipkart India will restart its services for selling essential products after receiving permission from central and state government regarding the safety of its delivery staff. Sachin Bansal, founder of Flipkart has reported that only grocery items and other essential products will be available in their online market. The biggest rival of Flipkart, Amazon India is in talks with government authorities to enable its deliver services for essential items. Flipkart is India’s first online shopping startup company based in Bengaluru.
