The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has decided to unlock all districts including Lucknow, Meerut, Gorakhpur, amidst declining COVID-19 cases in the state. Although, night curfew will continue from 7 PM to 7 AM as before. Active cases in all the districts have come down to less than 600. In the last 24 hours, 797 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the state. The recovery rate from COVID-19 in UP is 97.1% while the positivity rate is at 0.2%. So far, 1,66,27,059 people have been administered the first dose and 36,27,433 people have been given the second dose. 30 lakh people in the age group of 18 to 44 have been vaccinated in UP.
