Unlock 4: Taj Mahal, Agra Fort to re-open from Sept 21

As India entered the Unlock 4 phase, many restrictions have been lifted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. On Monday, Basant Kumar, Superintending Archaeologist ASI, allowed the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort to re-open for visitors from September 21. According to Basant Kumar, only 5,000 and 2,500 visitors will be allowed to enter both the monuments respectively per day. The ticket counter will remain open but it will provide electronic tickets as a part of precautionary measures.
