Tamil Nadu: COVID-19 cases cross 1.26 lakh-mark with 4,231 new cases

4,231 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Tamil Nadu in the last 24 hours. The second worst-affected state of the country has crossed the 1.26 lakh-mark with 1,26,581 total positive cases. Among the total infected patients, 1,765 have died and 78,161 have recovered so far in the state. The total number of COVID-19 cases in India has inched closer to the 8 lakh-mark with 7,93,802 cases and 21,604 deaths. Maharashtra remains the worst-hit state in India, crossing the 2.30 lakh-mark with 2,30,599 cases and 9,667 deaths.
