Section 144 extended in Noida till 31 August, new guidelines issued

Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar district is witnessing rapid increase in coronavirus cases. Thus, the UP Government has extended the Criminal Procedure Section of Code 144 (CrCP) until August 31 in the district. The district police reported all political, social, public, sports and religious gatherings will be prohibited in Noida and Greater Noida during this period. Noida Police said that all the cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools and amusement parks in the district will remain closed till 31 August.
