On Friday, a 25-year-old resident doctor of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) committed suicide by jumping off from the 10th floor of the AIIMS hostel. According to Delhi Police, the doctor identified as Anurag Kumar, was rushed to the hospital after he jumped off from the hostel building around 5 PM. He was a junior doctor of psychiatry suffering from depression. He was diagnosed with severe depressive episodes. His blog was shared by Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Twitter.
