In view of the rapid increase in the cases of COVID-19 in Rajasthan, the state government has announced a lockdown of 15 days from Monday that will remain in force till May 3. CM Ashok Gehlot has named the lockdown as ‘Jan Anushasan Pakhwada’ (Public Discipline Fortnight). All commercial establishments and markets will remain closed during this period. Those coming from other states will be allowed entry only after showing a negative RT-PCR report. All the offices will remain closed except essential services. Only food and civil supplies, public transport, municipal corporation, city development trust, electricity, water and medical departments will be kept opened.
