Protests erupt in PoK against building dams by China and Pakistan

On Monday night, a massive protest erupted in Muzaffarabad city of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). People of the city are against the construction of mega dams by Chinese companies on the Neelum-Jhelum River. Slogans like ‘Darya Bachao, Muzaffarabad Bachao’ (Save River, Save Muzaffarabad) were being chanted during the protests by over hundreds of residents of Muzaffarabad and people from other parts of PoK.
