Pakistan Army opens heavy fire along LoC in Poonch district

On Friday, the Pakistan Army violated the ceasefire and opened heavy firing at the Indian security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. They also attacked villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Mankote sector in Poonch district. According to Defense spokesman Lt Col Devender Anand, the Pakistan Army initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms at morning 5.15 am. Later, they switched over to mortar shelling along the LoC in the Mankote sector. Over this, the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the enemies. No casualties have been reported yet.
