Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik takes first dose of coronavirus vaccine

The second phase of coronavirus vaccination has started in the country from March 1. In this phase, vaccine will be administered to people above 60 years and people above 45 years of age suffering from serious diseases. Private hospitals will charge Rs 250 per dose while government hospitals will administer the vaccine for free. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik today took the first dose of the vaccine and shared his picture on Twitter. He captioned, “Happy to share that I took my first dose of #COVID19 vaccine today. Grateful to our scientists, health workers for their race against time to deliver the vaccines to people. Appeal to all eligible people to come forward and get vaccinated for a #CovidFreeOdisha.”
