Mumbai High Court denies bail to Rhea Chakraborty

On Friday, a special court rejected the bail plea of actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik who were arrested by NCB in a drug case related to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. A special judge justice GB Gurao heard the matter under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) act. The Narcotics Control Bureau appointed a special public prosecutor Atul Sarpande, while from Rhea’s side her lawyer Satish Manshinde appeared in court. After the rejection of bail plea, Rhea will have to stay in jail till September 22.
