Three people were killed and seven were gravely injured in a residential building collapse incident in Mumbai’s Govandi area at 4:58 AM on Friday. The injured have been admitted to Rajawadi Hospital and Sion Hospital for treatment. Two were declared dead on arrival at the Rajawadi Hospital. BMC and fire brigade personnel reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. A Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official reported that 7 fire tenders and a rescue van of the fire department, personnel of police and other agencies reached the spot and launched a search and rescue operation at the site.
