In Mumbai‘s Arthur Jail, 158 inmates and 26 staff members have been found COVID-19 positive. The first case was of a 45-year-old prisoner, who had high fever since April 30 and suffered a paralytic attack on May 2. After which he was hospitalized and found to be infected. Then 150 people from the jail were tested, out of which 103, including 77 prisoners and 26 staff members were found positive. Another 200 were tested later and 81 more prisoners were found infected.
