All accredited journalists will now be considered as frontline workers like doctors, nurses and policemen who are at the grassroot levels for the prevention of COVID-19 infection in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has announced this decision on Monday. Union Minister Prahlad Patel, former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, State BJP President Vishnudutt Sharma, Public Works Minister Gopal Bhargava, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra have lauded this decision of the state government. Meanwhile, the state recorded 12,662 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday.
