Manipur minister Thongam Biswajit Singh tests positive for COVID-19

On Saturday, Manipur‘s public relations minister Thongam Biswajit Singh tested positive for COVID-19. He has become the second minister in Manipur to test positive for the virus. The swab tests of Biswajit Singh and his family were taken on Wednesday, and on the next day, Singh and his daughter’s test resulted positive. Earlier, social welfare minister Nemcha Kipgen had become the first minister of Manipur to contract the virus.
