Maharashtra’s Unlock 4 begins today, relaxations announced

The guidelines for Unlock 4.0 in Maharashtra has came into effect from today, day after Ganeshotsav concluded. The Maharashtra government led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has announced major relaxations in Unlock 4 that will commence on September 30. The state government has allowed inter-district movement of persons and goods, including those for cross-land border trade without an e-pass. The reservation system for long-distance trains has been enabled from today, September 2. Hotels and lodges in Maharashtra are allowed to open with 100% staff.
