Maharashtra: CM Uddhav Thackeray to visit flood affected areas today

Total 129 people have lost their lives in two days due to the havoc caused by monsoon rains in Maharashtra. In Raigad, Ratnagiri and Satara, many people are still buried under the rubble and houses have been destroyed due to landslides and flood. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will visit flood-hit Mahad and Talai village. Teams of NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) are carrying out rescue and relief operations in the flood-affected low-lying Chiplun area of ​​Ratnagiri district. Roads are submerged in many parts of Maharashtra after heavy rains. In Raigad, 49 people have been killed and dozens are missing due to landslides in Talai village.
