Maharashtra: 4 dead in fire at a hospital in Thane

On Wednesday, a fire broke out at Prime Criticare Hospital in Thane’s Mumbra at around 3 AM in which 4 patients died. Around 20 patients were being treated at the hospital at the time of the incident. With the help of three fire engines and 2 water tankers, the fire has been doused. Patients admitted to ICU have been admitted to Bilal Hospital while other patients have been discharged. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the deceased and one lakh rupees will be given to the injured.
