In view of the increasing cases of coronavirus infection, the Kerala government has announced a two-day complete lockdown in the entire state. Strict restrictions will remain in force across the state on 23 and 24 July. Along with this, CM Pinarayi Vijayan has asked the state health and family welfare department to increase sample testing for COVID-19 in the state. Every day over 3 lakh sample tests have been ordered.
