Karnataka Minister to request a ‘shoot at sight’ law for ‘anti-nationals’

B C Patil, the Agriculture Minister of Karnataka called for a law to shoot the ‘anti-nationals’ at sight who raise pro-Pakistan slogans or say anything against India. Patil wants to request PM Modi to bring such law as, in his words, “These anti-nationals are enjoying food, water, and air of India. Why should they be here if they raise the ‘Pakistan zindabad’ slogan? In China, people are scared to talk against their country.”

This comes three days after a young woman, Amulya Leona was arrested and charged with sedition for raising ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogan at an anti-CAA rally in Bengaluru.
