Karnataka CM to chair a meeting on school reopening issue amid the pandemic

On Thursday, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has decided to chair a meeting to solve the issue of reopening the state’s schools amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Primary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar will also attend the virtual meeting. According to the Chief Minister Office, there will be no sudden decisions to reopen the schools as the final decision will come after the assigned committee submits a report with suggestions for school reopening. COVID-19 handling in the state will also be discussed in the meeting.
