Ex-Navy officer meets governor Koshiyari, demands Presidential rule in Maharashtra

Ex-naval officer Madan Sharma, who was assaulted by Shiv Sena workers had a meeting with Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari on Tuesday. After the meeting, he told the media that President’s rule should be implemented in the state. He said, “Sections under which accused were booked are weak. The Governor assured he’ll take action on my memorandum”. The six attackers who were released on bail have been re-arrested under IPC section 452 (House-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault, or wrongful restraint) on Monday night and produced today in the court.
