Earthquake tremors were felt in Hyderabad in the early hours of Monday. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake hit south of Hyderabad around 5 AM, with a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter scale. According to the alert issued by the earthquake monitoring agency, the epicenter of the quake was in Andhra Pradesh, 156 km south of Hyderabad. There is no report of any casualties from the earthquake yet. On Sunday, another earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale was felt in Gangtok, Sikkim at around 8.30 PM. Strong tremors were felt across the state and in many parts of North Bengal including Darjeeling.
