Earthquake jolts North Mumbai, 2.7 magnitude recorded

On Saturday, a mild earthquake jolted Maharashtra’s capital city Mumbai at 10.33 AM. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake intensity on the Richter scale was recorded to be 2.7 magnitude with a depth of 10 km. It occurred 91 km North of Mumbai. No loss of property or casualties have been reported yet. Earlier on Tuesday, another mild earthquake had jolted Manipur’s Ukhrul district at 2.39 AM (midnight).
