Earthquake jolts Nashik in Maharashtra, 3.6 magnitude recorded

On Friday, a mild earthquake jolted Nashik city in Maharashtra at 07:06 AM.  According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake intensity on the Richter scale was recorded to be of 3.6 magnitude. It occurred 100km West of Nashik at a depth of 5 km. No casualties have been reported yet. Earlier on Saturday, a mild earthquake of 2.7 magnitude had jolted Mumbai at 10.33 AM.
