Delhiites get ‘satisfactory’ air back after three months

After the Saturday showers, Delhiites took a sigh of relief as the air quality of the city improved to ‘satisfactory’ level. The System of Air Quality Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) reported that the overall air quality of Delhi was ‘satisfactory’ with PM 10 (particulate matter) at 94 micrograms per cubic metre and PM 2.5 at 46 micrograms per cubic metre at 9 am on Sunday. Saturday’s rain shower has cleaned the air in Delhi for a while.
