Delhi records worst air quality as AQI crosses 400

Delhi‘s air quality is deteriorating day by day leading to a manifold increase in crisis for children, elderly people and COVID-19 patients. On Friday morning, the air quality index in Delhi was recorded above 400, which is considered as ‘severe’. The Air Quality Index (AQI) at Anand Vihar in Delhi on Friday morning was 442, 407 in RK Puram, 421 in Dwarka and 430 in Bawana. Pollution in the national capital reached its worst level in the last one year on Thursday due to increase in stubble burning, low wind speed and temperature.
