Delhi records 89 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, lowest since April 2020

For the first time after the peak of the second wave of COVID-19 and since April 2020, only 89 new cases of infection have been reported in a day. On Monday (June 21), 89 new cases of coronavirus infection, 173 recoveries and 11 deaths were registered in the last 24 hours. According to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi Health Department, the rate of COVID-19 infection in Delhi has come down to 0.16% while the death rate was recorded at 1.74%. A total of 24,925 patients have died due to COVID-19 in the city so far while a total of 14,05,460 people have been cured of the infection. There are currently 1,996 active cases in Delhi.
