Due to increasing pollution levels in Delhi, the toxicity in air is increasingly. Due to smog, there is very low visibility in the sky. Air quality index (AQI) is very poor in many areas of the national capital. The rising infection cases of coronavirus and the poisonous air filled with pollution particles have raised the concern of the government. In some areas of Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, the AQI was recorded above the 400-mark, which is considered as ‘serious’ category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality in Punjab Bagh, Delhi was recorded at 438 on Saturday.
