Delhi govt to provide financial aid to families that lost earning members to COVID-19

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Friday that the state government will provide financial help to the families that lost earning members due to COVID-19 and will bear the education and other expenses of the children orphaned by the pandemic. He also informed that the rate of infection in Delhi has come down to 12% with about 8,500 COVID-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours. He said that the fight against COVID-19 is not over and there is no scope for laxity. Sharing a video message on Twitter, the CM wrote in Hindi, “The situation in Delhi is improving but the war against Corona continues. I stand by you in this difficult time.”
