Delhi govt to provide ex-gratia of Rs 1 crore each to families of 6 slain police and defense personnel

Delhi government will provide an ex-gratia of Rs one crore each to the families of six martyred personnel of Air Force, Delhi Police and Civil Defense who lost their lives in the line of duty. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia made this announcement in an online press conference on Saturday. He said that the martyrdom of the soldiers is an irreparable loss. Financial assistance of Rs 1 crore is also given by the Delhi Government to the families of all the Corona Warriors of Delhi who lost their lives due to COVID-19 infection. In the last one year, a large number of doctors, nurses and other health workers and frontline workers had succumbed to coronavirus infection.
