Delhi: COVID-19 case tally reaches 80,000-mark with 2,558 deaths

Delhi recorded 2,984 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. The national capital has become the second worst-hit state of COVID-19 in the country. Delhi has crossed the 80,000-mark of positive cases with 80,188 cases so far. Among the total cases, 2,558 have died and 49,301 patients have recovered. The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in India has reached the 5.48 lakh-mark with 5,48,318 cases and 16,475 deaths. Maharashtra still remains the worst-affected state in the country with 1,64,626 cases with 7,429 deaths.
