The affected areas of the country have not been able to recover from the cyclonic storm Tauktae yet and the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has once again released the forecast of another cyclone. The Department has issued a warning that Cyclone Yass is likely to reach West Bengal and Odisha between 23-25 May. It will hit the east coast on 26-27 May. According to IMD, a low pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal and the adjoining North Andaman around May 22. After which, it will take the form of a cyclonic storm in the next 72 hours and hit the West Bengal-Odisha coast by the evening of 26 May.
