COVID-19 Update: Maharashtra records 6,497 new cases in 24 hours

According to the Union Health Ministry, Maharashtra witnessed 6,497 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The number of COVID-19 positive cases in the state has now reached a total of 2,60,924 with deaths of 10,482 patients. Among the total cases, 1,44,507 patients have recovered so far. Mumbai has crossed the 93,000-mark with 93,894 positive cases and 5,332 deaths from the disease. The number of total COVID-19 cases in the country has crossed the 9 lakh-mark today with 9,06,752 cases and 23,727 deaths.
