Bus falls into valley in Maharashtra’s Nandurbar, 5 dead and 35 injured

On Wednesday, a bus fell into a valley near Khamchoundar village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra. At least 5 people are reported dead and 35 have suffered injuries. The injured ones were immediately admitted to the Civil hospital in Nandurbar. SP Mahendra Pandit said the incident took place at 1 am at midnight. The bus was traveling from Malkapur to Surat when it fell into a 60-80 foot deep valley after another bus dashed it. The five dead include – a driver, cleaner and three passengers. Currently, Nandurbar Police is undertaking the rescue operations.
