Bihar government has announced that the COVID-19 lockdown has been lifted in the state. Now, only night curfew from 7 PM to 5 AM will remain imposed. CM Nitish Kumar tweeted in this regard and said that the shops can now remain open till 5 PM. The decision to end the lockdown was taken in the meeting of the Disaster Management Group of Bihar. Due to declining number of cases in the state, work in government and private offices will be resumed again with only 50 percent officers and employees till 4 PM. However, it has been decided to keep the government and non-government educational institutions closed till July in view of the the safety of children.
