Bihar Minister Kapil Deo Kamat dies due to COVID-19

On Friday, Bihar’s senior Janata Dal (United) leader Kapil Deo Kamat passed away at the age of 69. Kamat died due to COVID-19 complications. He was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed deep condolences over Kapil Deo Kamat’s demise. He said, “Kamat was a very grounded leader. He was a skilled administrator and a popular politician, I am personally saddened by his death”.
