Air quality worsens in Delhi-NCR, state in red zone for 2 days

Air quality in Delhi-NCR has deteriorated due to burning of stubble in Punjab-Haryana as well as other parts of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the wind speed will be slow on Tuesday, due to which the air quality index may rise again and pollution level will increase. According to Safar India, for the next two days Delhi-NCR will remain in Red Zone. Today the air quality index in many parts is above 300.
