Aurangabad (Maharashtra): The state government will take out a loan of Rs 15,000 crore for roads in the state. The proposal has been sent by the Public Works Department. The proposal will come before the Cabinet in the next fortnight. Public Works Minister Ashok Chavan said the state government would take the loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). At the same time, Rs 542 crore will be provided for the damage of roads in Marathwada, he said. At a press conference held at the Collectorate, Chavan informed about the condition of roads in Marathwada and the funds required for it. Former city president Namdev Pawar, district president Kalyan Kale and other office bearers were present on the occasion.
