On Saturday, militants ambushed a team of security forces stationed at the main square in Baramulla’s Sopore town of North Kashmir. In this attack, two security forces personnel were martyred while two civilians got killed. IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar informed that along with the death of four people, two soldiers and one civilian suffered injuries in the attack. He said that the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) is responsible for this attack. The condition of three other injured, including two policemen and a civilian, is said to be critical. The martyred personnel have been identified as constable Waseem Ahmed and constable Shaukat Ahmed.
