10-day complete lockdown imposed in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad starting July 13

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) announced complete lockdown for a period of 10 days, starting from July 13. Lockdown will also be implemented in rural Pune. Only essential services like dairy, medical stores and hospitals will remain open during the period. Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and other rural parts of Pune will end lockdown on 23rd July. So far, Pune has recorded over 33,000 COVID-19 positive cases along with 1000 deaths.
