WTC Final 2021: NZ calls India to bat first, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill on crease

The final match of the ICC World Test Championship between India and New Zealand was to start on Friday, but the first day of the match was called off due to incessant rain in Southampton. On the second day of the match at The Ageas Bowl Stadium, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bowl first. The New Zealand team has not included spinners in their Playing XI in this match. In the first innings of the match, Team India has scored 29 runs in 8 overs without any loss while batting. The opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are on the crease.
