The second ODI between West Indies and Australia in Barbados was suspended due to the detection of a positive case of COVID-19. The case was confirmed just minutes before the first ball was bowled. This was the first time that a match had been postponed after the toss due to coronavirus. However, it is not yet confirmed when the match will be played. The players, support staff and match officials were briefed about the case after the toss for the second ODI between hosts West Indies and visitors Australia, following which both the teams headed to their respective dressing rooms. All the players are now placed in isolation in the bio-bubble.
