Tokyo Olympics: India beats New Zealand in opening Hockey match

The Indian Hockey team has begun their campaign in Tokyo Olympics with a victory. In the first match against New Zealand, the team won 3-2 in a very exciting match. Drag-flicker Harmanpreet Singh helped the team towards victory and scored two goals. On Sunday, the Indian team will face the Australian team. The Indian team was led by Captain Manpreet Singh, who was one of the flag-bearers of the Indian contingent in the opening ceremony. Harmanpreet Singh scored two consecutive goals to consolidate the team’s lead. He scored in the 26th and 33rd minutes of the match.
