Tokyo Olympic 2020 Day 7: Shuttler PV Sindhu qualifies for quarter-finals

On the sixth day of the Tokyo Olympics 2020, women players like PV Sindhu in badminton, Deepika Kumari in archery and debutant Pooja Rani in boxing, won their respective matches and entered the next rounds. Shooter Manu Bhaker, who was in controversy after a pistol malfunction at the Tokyo Olympics, has made a spectacular comeback by performing well in the qualifying round of the 25m Air Pistol event. Manu is currently running at number 5. Meanwhile, another Indian shooter Rahi Sarnobat finished at number 25. Indian boxer Satish Kumar (91kg) secured a place in the quarter-finals by defeating Jamaican boxer Ricardo Brown.
