Team India’s support staff member tests positive for COVID-19, practice session canceled

A support staff member of the Indian team has been found coronavirus infected before the 5th test match. Due to this, the Indian team canceled its practice session before the match. The 5th Test match is to be played between India and England in Manchester from Friday. A senior BCCI official has also confirmed the positive test. However, the name of the support staff member has not been revealed. The team’s head coach Ravi Shastri is already in isolation after being found coronavirus infected during the fourth Test match. Apart from him, fielding coach R. Sridhar, bowling coach Bharat Arun and physio Nitin Patel are also in isolation in London. Currently, only batting coach Vikram Rathor is with Team India.
